PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

In 1989, Craig purchased his first investment property, - a single-family rowhouse in Northeast Philadelphia. As a means to learning more about real estate, he obtained his real estate license in 1990. Since that time, he has bought or sold approximately $12.6 million of his own personal Commercial/Investment properties, ranging from single family homes to apartment buildings to retail strip centers and vacation homes.  He continues to invest in real estate to enlarge his assets and has owned several limited liability companies for this purpose. As both a principal and a real estate agent, he has completed several 1031 exchanges, which defer 100% of any capital gains tax. Craig has been a consistent multi-million dollar  producer as a Real Estate Agent.  As an agent, Craig specializes in Commercial and investment properties of all types not usually handled by large commercial brokerage firms.  He also specializes in consulting Sellers on the many options available to minimize tax consequences if they dispose of their income producing properties.

Currently, he serves as Vice President/Treasure on the Board of Directors of the PA/NJ/DE CCIM Chapter, and  is a member of the Tri-State Commercial Real Estate Alliance, The International Council of Shopping Centers, and for eight years, Craig served on the board of directors of the Diversified Real Estate Investors Group as Vice President.  Also, he was a Director and Secretary of the Pennsylvania Residential Owners Association in Harrisburg, which represents the interests of landlords throughout Pennsylvania. 

In addition to his background as an investor and Real Estate Agent, he has extensive experience in land development for the Barness Organization as well as for himself, and has developed land in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Berks and Lancaster Counties.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Craig has completed an intensive course of study through the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and has earned the prestigious CCIM designation (Certified Commercial and Investment Member) designation for Realtors. This designation, which is held by only 6% of commercial real estate practitioners in North America, and is the highest conferred within the fields of commercial and investment real estate.

Additionally he currently holds the industry designations of GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute) and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist).
